BSA 131 (Digital Filmmaking I) Week 11 : Sound for Kiarne

I did sound on Kiarne's set (so unfortunately no visual references or BTS), but I actually really enjoyed it. I was only needed for the first day but I think it went splendidly. Sound is an interesting role because it is so removed from the rest of the crew. I've gotten so used to helping out all over the place that it was actually refreshing to have a job all to myself and not worry about what other people are up to. The problem with this of course is that I got restless when nothing was happening. Between shooting I didn't have much to do and had to simply wait it out.

Getting good sound feels really good though and there were some shots that I thought worked out really well. I was aggressive throughout, but also learned that adjusting the levels to suit the performance or action is very helpful - something I started implementing towards the end of the shoot.
