THE EMOJI MOVIE REVIEW

1.  Provide a 2-3 sentence overview of the plot.  (No spoilers!)

Fresh out of college, Barry the Bee (Jerry Seinfeld) finds the prospect of working with honey uninspiring. 2.  What was your overall emotional response to the film? Why?

Pure. Ecstasy.

The movie aims to be as enjoyable as possible, the bright colours, witty humour and musical sequences all work towards making a movie that will be enjoyed by all ages. It's purity makes the movie an absolute pleasure to watch.

3.  What did you think of the lead character and why? Was there a particular incident in the film or thing that they did that made you feel this way?

The lead character (T.J. Miller) is likable because of his low social stature. We sympathize with an underdog and while not a dog that is what T.J. is in this film. All the other emojis bully and cyberbully him because he has more than one emojion. This is relatable as we have all been in a situation like that, where we are the outcast. We sympathise with him and root for him. The particular incident has to be when T.J. changes his face from meh to a laugh crying emoji when looking at the baby donuts. It's early in the film and establishes him as a loving, active and sympathetic character.

4.  Who was your favourite character (if not the lead) and why? Was there a particular incident in the film or thing that they did that made you feel this way?

My favourite character was Hi-5, he is the comic relief of the group and this is why I liked him. he makes the mpost jokes. While lacking a character arc onre  sany sor of personality, he is funny

Jailbreak is a strong femle protaghero and thats why i liked her

5.  Were there any moments that engaged you the most, and why?

The most engaging sequence was actually the Just Dance™ sequence in which the characters dance, Hi-5 aolmost dies and jailbreak experiences her charactrer arc. #emojipop

The humor is there (Seinfeld is a gifted comedian, even in the form of his alter ego, animated bee Barry Benson), and the story is original.Full review

6.  Were there any moments in which you started to lose interest or disengaged from the film? Why do you think this was the case?
