Evaluating the Edit BSA 105 (Editing) Week 4
This week we got a chance to experiment with out rough cuts a bit, we were given free reign over the fine cut of the film meaning that we didn't have to follow the story boards anymore and really we could do anything with the footage that we wanted. Whether that is a cut of the film that is not in chronological order, a trailer for it or even a music video.
While I thought a trailer would be cool to do I stuck pretty closely to the general outline that I already had, just cleaning it up a bit and adding the music. Adding the music was an interesting challenge because I am quite used to editing with music, it is my preferred method, but I didn't feel the music we had access to really fit all that well with what I wanted to do. Of the two options I could only really see one working out and it was very unfortunately cut short.
